Residential Support Worker - Day Shift (Term-Time) - Post 1

About the role

A confidential children's residential provider is recruiting for a permanent, reduced-hours Day Shift Residential Support Worker role in Cleckheaton. This is a no-sleep-in post within a small, Good-rated children's home.

The position follows a two-week rolling rota. During term time, weekday shifts run from 2:30pm to 10pm and weekend shifts from 10am to 10pm. During school holidays, weekday and weekend shifts run from 10am to 10pm.

The annual pattern totals 1,763 hours and 15 minutes. Qualified pay is £23,363.06 per year and unqualified pay is £22,922.25 per year. Full training is available, including an NVQ Level 4 for unqualified starters.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate day-shift support within a children's residential home
• Support daily routines, activities and positive outcomes for young people
• Work the agreed term-time and school-holiday rota
• Work collaboratively with the home's care team

Essential requirements

• Available for the stated term-time and school-holiday shift pattern
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends
• Comfortable working in a children's residential setting
