Simply Social Care is working with a confidential children's residential care provider to recruit a Children's Home Deputy Manager in Bradford.
This senior, full-time permanent role supports the Registered Manager with the leadership and smooth running of the home. You will provide visible guidance to the residential team, contribute to care planning, safeguarding, risk management and accurate recording, and help create a safe, stable and nurturing environment for children and young people.
The post is 40 hours per week, flexibly arranged across seven days. There are no routine shifts or sleep-ins, although occasional emergency cover may be required. The salary is £33,000–£35,000 per year plus a performance-related bonus of up to £2,500, with external clinical supervision available for members of the senior management team.

What you’ll bring
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England), or a demonstrably equivalent qualification, already completed.
- At least two years' recent experience in an Ofsted-regulated children's residential home.
- Previous senior, shift-leading, team-leading or supervisory responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of safeguarding, care planning, risk assessment, staff supervision, the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards.
- Ability to work flexibly across seven days to meet service needs.
- Willingness to provide occasional emergency shift or sleep-in cover when required.
- Right to work in the UK.
